Efficiency of distributed power supply

Compared with the traditional single power supply, the distributed power supply has high efficiency, which is reflected in:
On the one hand, the loss of the switching tube of the low-power power module is relatively small, and the loss of the magnetic component is also relatively small. On the whole, the overall efficiency of the smaller power module is higher than that of the similar power module with high power. Therefore, the overall efficiency of the distributed power system formed by the smaller power module in parallel is also higher than that of a single power supply with the same capacity and type.
On the other hand, since the efficiency of the power supply is usually larger in the high-power output, and relatively low in the low-power output, if a high-power power supply is used, its efficiency is relatively low in the low-power output, but if the distributed power parallel system is used, only part of the module can work when its output is low power, and the other modules do not work, so that, The working module still has a high working efficiency, which can make the parallel power system can maintain a high working efficiency in the range of small power output to high power output. Combining the above two aspects, it can be said that the distributed power parallel system has the characteristics of high efficiency.
