The electron beam bombardment furnace we say is mainly used in the melting and refining of precious and rare beach melting metals, which is a high-tech product that integrates vacuum physics, material science, electronic technology, electron optics, high voltage technology, computer and control technology. Compared with other vacuum melting furnaces, the electron beam bombardment furnace has high power density, high vacuum in the furnace, easy to prepare a variety of high-purity materials or special alloys, and for melting high-quality special steel and scrap recycling, in addition, it has the advantages of no refractories to environmental pollution and energy saving.
The development direction of electron beam bombardment furnace is high-power, multi-gun, the maximum power of such equipment in foreign countries can reach 2400 kW, and a single device can be configured with up to 4 electron guns. China is one of the few countries with full intellectual property rights to produce such equipment, with a single device power of 1000 kW.
The key technology of electron beam bombardment furnace is the electron beam generator and its power supply. At present, the high-power electron beam bombardment furnace mainly uses the interthermal cathode axial electron gun, which mainly includes the electron beam generation system (filament, cathode, beam converging electrode, anode, etc.) and the electron light path system (composed of magnetic lens and diaphragm grating deceiving scanner). The power supply corresponding to the electron beam generation system includes filament heating power supply, bombardment power supply and electron beam acceleration power supply, which work at the negative high voltage end. The power supply corresponding to the electronic optical path system is the focusing power supply and the deflection sweep power supply, which work at the low voltage end.
